united-nations-headquartersThe presentation will take place  1:00-3:30pm; I will be presenting on the lessons learned from empirical studies of the children of Holocaust survivors, throughout their life span from adolescence into midlife. Findings show long-term effects of parental historical trauma in the lives of their adult children. Some factors that support recovery and better re-integration in survivors of trauma and in their children that have been identified in this large population should inform social interventions to support better post-trauma adaptation in recent trauma-exposed families.
