I want to share with you a link to a special program I feel very excited about,  which I created and which will be hosted over Zoom by the Museum of Jewish Heritage in NYC on Tuesday, June 22 at 2:00 pm EDT.

The program focuses on two young women, both film directors, and both granddaughters of Holocaust survivors, and each of whom created a documentary about her grandmother. I will be moderating a discussion with the two film directors. One is Alexa Karolinski, who grew up in Germany and created the documentary “Oma and Bella”. Karolinski has recently become very well known, after she created the TV series “Unorthodox”, which has been very well received by American and Israeli audiences. The other participant is Noa Maiman, an Israeli who created the documentary “Oy Mama”, which depicts the touching relationship between Maiman’s grandmother and her Filipino healthcare aid, who lives with her, and the complicated situation of these Filipino aids who take care of so many of Israel’s aging Holocaust survivors.

I hope to see you online at what should be a very interesting program!
