Having Attended the First Meeting of the New Second Generation Group at the Museum of Jewish Heritage

This afternoon I attended the first meeting of a new second generation group in Manhattan, organized by Estelle Jamel-Peretz and Pauline Katz. The turnout was great, and the atmosphere was warm; everyone seemed excited to meet other ‘second generation’ and accepting of the great variation of experiences within our group. What a great way to continue to honor and process the unique experiences we share! The next meeting is scheduled for December 16, once again at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Manhattan.

      Hi Orit,

I am so happy to hear that the conference was a good experience!
The new second generation group I wrote about meets every other month
at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in the city, but perhaps it is worth
      the trip.

I’ve been trying to reach you as one of the administrators of the 2GNYC group to see if you are available to speak at our next meeting. You can reach me through the 2GNYC website or my personal email that I’ve listed here. Look forward to hearing from you!
