On Wednesday, May 22 I will be presenting a full-day workshop hosted by the Ohel Institute for Training. The workshop is is entitled “Findings from Neuroscience: Implications for Psychotherapy” and is open to mental health professionals who register to attend.
The new buzz word in the mental health world is “neuroscience”, yet the connections between research and clinical work are still being discovered. The workshop will focus on the implications of evidence from research in neuro-affective science to psychotherapy and clinical intervention with high-risk children and families, as well as to couple therapy. Specific interventions will be presented, and state-of-the-art materials for use in your practice will be included.
The workshop will take place at Kingsway Jewish Center, 2902 Kings Highway in Brooklyn NY from 9 am until 4 pm on Wed. May 22. For more information, including how to register to attend the workshop, click on the image above.
