On Sunday February 1, 2026, I will present a lecture about intergenerational transmission of historical trauma as part of the seminar series offered by the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society. My presentation will address the mechanisms of transmission of vulnerabilities and resiliencies associated with parental or ancestral trauma, and how these, in turn, serve as a lens through which the current experiences of descendants are perceived and responded to.
The lecture will take place in Brooklyn and is in-person only. Attendance is open to those who register in advance. More information, including the registration link, can be found by clicking on the image below.
